Lesson Summary
This lesson helps students develop an understanding of reflection, absorption, and transmission and apply that understanding to describe how scientists are developing a 3-dimensional model of the center of the Milky Way galaxy.
Upon completion of this lesson, students will be able to:
- define and describe reflection, absorption, and transmission.
- describe types of light that can be transmitted through dust clouds in space.
